Project Status

Design for approved Trustee allocation for improvements in Building 2 completed and awaiting HISD approval. Renovation work is in process in Buildings 1 (Second Floor) and 5.

Target Year Open/Complete: Q4/2012

Description
Renovations include: safety/security and MEP improvements, lighting, exterior finishes, signage, flooring, door and window replacements, PA system, stage equipment and ADA compliance. Funds were received from the District III Trustee Allocation to expand the renovation scope to include renovations to the Cafeteria, site improvements, and other capital related improvements.

This school was built in 1931.
